Tina Harris was elected Larimer County Clerk & Recorder in 2024, bringing more than 26 years of experience in the Clerk’s Office, working her way up from entry-level to elected leadership. Her career reflects a deep respect for the traditions that safeguard local government, paired with a steady focus on modernizing services to better serve the community.
Since taking office, Tina has led meaningful improvements across the Clerk & Recorder’s Office, including expanding customer service options, reducing wait times, strengthening election integrity and transparency, and introducing new tools that protect residents and increase access to county services. Her leadership is rooted in integrity, accountability, and a commitment to fair, non-partisan administration.
Tina has been married to her husband Rick for 36 years and is a proud mother and grandmother. Family keeps her grounded and constantly mindful of the long-term impact of good government—because the systems we steward today are the ones our children and grandchildren will rely on tomorrow.
At home, Tina is also kept on her toes by Charlie, her one-year-old corgi and the office’s unofficial mascot, affectionately known as the “Clerk & ReCorgi,” who serves as a daily reminder that even serious work benefits from approachability, warmth, and a sense of humor.
“I am seeking another term as your Larimer County Clerk & Recorder because this office requires experience, stability, and trust. With more than 26 years of service—and the honor of being elected to this role—I understand both the responsibility and the impact of this work.
Every service provided by the Clerk & Recorder’s Office, from elections and public records to marriage licenses and vehicle registration, must be delivered with accuracy, professionalism, and absolute impartiality. These are essential public services, not political ones.
I am equally committed to supporting the dedicated staff who make this office work every day. Strong teams, clear processes, and thoughtful improvements ensure residents receive consistent, high-quality service they can rely on.
Larimer County deserves steady leadership that respects tradition, adapts carefully to change, and always puts the public first. I am committed to continuing that work.”
